With emails from Jeff Adams and other investors plugging his new foreclosure course about buying REOs. I must admit, I got sucked it and watched the Teleseminar the other night. It’s full of good stuff, a lot of stuff I already knew, but I did pick up a few helpful tips.
I haven’t purchased the course, or even the free trial (free plus $9.95 shipping, naturally). I am still trying to do all this on my own and use the courses I already have on my bookshelf as a guide. It’s easy to get sucked in and buy every cool new course on the market. The internet is such a great resource of free help and info, and I learn a lot of the same stuff on message boards and groups. Who knows, I may change my mind and buy his course.
What I do like about all these Teleseminars and podcasts out on the internet is that you do pick up little nuggets in each one and, for me anyway, they really keep you motivated to get (or stay) in the real estate game. They always come with the big sales pitch at the end, but that’s to be expected. I’d rather be pitched during an audio seminar than in person. I went to one of those “free” foreclosure seminars at a hotel years ago and they basically had you running to the back of the room the buy the course, and if you didn’t, you were a loser. It was quite funny to see the madness unfold! And, these podcasts have come a long way from the late night informercials from years ago. Those always were filled with hot babes, champagne and yachts to get you to buy the latest guru’s course…so YOU TOO can live the lavish lifestyle!
That’s all for now. Happy Investing!
